Old Ignatians 2
Manorians 2

Goalscorer: Jake Watson x2
Man: Jake Watson
Muppet: Conor O'Grady

We trekked down to North Wembley on a cold saturday
for our first game back in the New Year, we had
training called off the tuesday before so it was going
to be a tough game and a chance for the gaffer to see
who had been keeping fit over the christmas period.
Dan Porter had left to chase some skirt all over the
world and Peter O'Grady was chasing some skirt all
over the care home so we rejigged the team slightly to
accomodate everyone.

We lined up as follows:
Jordan, Liam, Matty O, Sean McD
Tommy, Ren
Conor, Alex, Kane

Subs were Jack Barton and Eoin O'Grady who looks like
he has had a tough time at uni as he's lost all
footballing ability he once had and is also pretty fat
P.S our goalkeeper Ryan was wearing his mums tights in
goal so his little fat knees didn't get cold, big
muppet shout.

We started brightly, Tommy was relieved that Ren was
his midfield partner as it meant he could share the
workload effectively and conserve energy to get
forward.. did it f@ck if anything it doubled his
workrate as he continuously had to run all the way
round Renaldo just to get to the other side of the
Our first goal came early on, pressing high up the
pitch allowed Conor to slide Jake through and he
tucked away.

Conor then grasped the muppet vote firmly back from
Rybo when he picked the ball up in our right back
position, looked up, smashed it against the oppo who
gratefully took the ball and scored.

The rest of the first half was fairly quiet, we
dominated the ball and it was difficult to see quite
how Manorians sit third in the table. Kane sparked a
competition with Jordan to see who had the worst shot
in our squad after 'spotting the keeper off his line'
and hitting the old lady in the house about 40 yards
behind the pitch. Our workrate was good and we had
more chances to extend our lead but a combination of
wasteful finishing and good defending left us drawing
at half time, Fat O'Grady came on for an
injured/embarassedmuppet Conor shortly before half

Half time team talk was pretty hilarious, Tommy and
Matt were both booked for being little melts in the
first half so Dave told them to stop being little
melts but they didn't want to stop so they continued
being little melts. Liam tried to instil some order
with some stern words but everyone remembered the
photo of him in his girlfriends dressing gown throwing
up in a bucket and he immediately lost all

Second half kicked off with us pressing forward again,
Jake screwed a left footed shot wide after good work
from Alex and Fat O'Grady sent a shot back to
Bournemouth on the edge of the area.
Conor and Jack came on for Kane and Sean mcD to inject
some thrust, a bullet free kick from out wide from
Conor was flicked on by Jake and we took the lead with
15 to play. 2-1

We were caught in two minds whether to push on and get
another (which is what we should have done) or to
consolidate what we had (we could've done this too)
but we were effectively caught in between the two with
neither attack nor defence fully committed too. Ren
and Jack both watched as the oppo number 2 did a
little waltz into our box, crossed it to the back post
and it was tucked away. 2-2.

Game over, tough result to take but a point away to a
top 3 side maybe might be looked back at as a good
point at the end of the season.
Man was Jake for the goals and being threatening as
per usual. Notable mention to Jordan for running the
show at RB.
Muppet was tight between Tights in goal and Conor the
serial assist merchant for both teams with Conor just
edging it.

Big run of games coming up,need results to move up the
table. COYI's
