As you may have noticed the ditches around the pitches at the clubhouse have become full of water recently. This is because they have become blocked with leaves, twigs etc which need to be moved to allow water to drain away from the pitches.
As there is now only 1 game still going ahead tomorrow (the ones) we are asking for all players to come down to the clubhouse for 12 midday to help clear these ditches which will allow water to drain off and provide us all with a better playing surface and minimum disruption to remaining fixtures this season.
The more hands help out the quicker and easier it will be.
Do not leave this down to the same 9 or 10 people who carry out most jobs at the club, this is YOUR club and needs YOUR help to succeed.
A pair of wellies, and a shovel is all that will be needed and the work will take an hour or so, maybe less depending on the numbers we get.
The England V Ireland rugby game will be on in the clubhouse afterwards.
If you’ve ever moaned about the state of the pitches at the Loyola this is your chance to help make them better!!!
