4th 11 lost 5-2 on Saturday away to Parmiterians 9s, a side who had previously beat us 8-0 at our place, but we were gutted that we didnot share any of the spoils.
We were 2-0 up via Chris Dobson and Jerry Brennan early on and crusing, until we conceded an unfortunate penalty just before half-time Dan Woolley was cruely adjudged to handball.
2nd half saw our Oppo make some changes. They outplayed and out muscled us, scoring three goals very early on to go into a 4-2 lead.
Tom Kelly missed a penalty with 20 minutes to go and after this they scored their 5th goal to beat us 5-2.
Andrew Norman brought up from the 5s was our Man of the Match. he played him at Centre Midfield and he was excellent, for someone who I guess weighs close to 10 stone he was mixing it with Muscular opponents and he was very sensible with his distribution. This youngster can easily play higher up the Club and he stood out.
Many thanks to Ant O (5th 11 Captain), and a the other youngsters who came to watch the match.
